The Bible<\/strong><\/p>\n

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.\u00a0 The Bible gives instructions as to its purpose.\u00a0 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says: All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.\u00a0<\/em>It shows how to become a Christian, live a Christian life after accepting Jesus as Savior, and how the “Church” fits into your life.<\/p>\n

The Church<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Church is all of the believers who have been called out of sin into righteousness, who then meet together in individual congregations.\u00a0 The Church was established by Christ to be the chief agency used in spreading the gospel, which leads to salvation.\u00a0 It is to develop a relationship with Christ as a body working together.\u00a0 Jesus desires the church to be united.\u00a0 John 17:7 records Jesus prayer that all believers be “one.”<\/p>\n

The Lord’s Table<\/strong><\/p>\n

Because the early Church as seen in the New Testament met on the first day of the week for the purpose of “breaking of bread” or “the Lord’s supper” we offer communion to all Christians every Sunday to also share in this fellowship with Christ.<\/p>\n

Your Part in the Church<\/strong><\/p>\n

Acts 2:42 and Colossians 3:16 show us that a worship service should consist of at least five areas:<\/p>\n
